Honor of Kings S35 Season Update: Rank Reset Changes, Aries-Themed Sun Shangxiang Skin Stuns, Han Xin Buffed

The latest Battle Pass for Honor of Kings is now live, bringing a fresh wave of exclusive content and cosmetic upgrades for players to pursue. This update introduces several new skins, including the charming “Veggie Village” thematic outfits for Luban No. 7 and Li Yuanfang—available as part of the Advanced and Glory Battle Pass tiers. Additionally, a pink Starry Skin variant for Luban No. 7 is up for grabs, further enriching this season’s rewards.

Alongside the new additions, the Battle Pass shop is also featuring returning skins from previous seasons—S15, S25, and S31. Standout returning skins include Ganjiang Moye’s “True Love Magic,” Dian Wei’s “Blue Screen Warning,” and Bian Que’s “Fantasy Scent Trail.” These can be acquired using Battle Pass Coins for S25 and S31 skins, while the S15 skin requires Wishlight Stones.

New standalone skins have also made their debut. Zhong Wuyan’s “Spring Journey” is now available as an event reward—a Warrior-tier skin that many players have already claimed. A-Qu’s “Playful” skin has received a crossover Starry Skin variant called “Wild Fun,” featuring elements inspired by the popular Cabbage Dog character. This variant can be directly purchased with Purple Star Coins.

Shifting Schedules and Upcoming Season Changes

It’s important to note that the Battle Pass and ranked season schedules are no longer synchronized. Although the Battle Pass recently refreshed, the ranked season still has approximately one month remaining. The new S35 season is expected to launch in early April, bringing significant gameplay and system updates.

One highly anticipated addition is the new hero Da Siming, who is slated to join the official server at the start of S35. Classified as an Assassin/Warrior, Da Siming boasts a powerful and versatile skill set. The seasonal skin for S35 is rumored to be awarded to either Liu Bei or Huang Zhong, both of whom have new Warrior-tier skins in development. These can be unlocked by reaching 100 (training value) during the season.

Rank Reset Rules for S35

With the new season comes the customary rank reset. Players who haven’t yet reached their target rank should use the remaining time wisely. The reset rules for S35 have been revealed: players at Mythical Glory (25 stars and above) will be demoted to Supreme Celestial. Those below 25 stars in Mythical Rank will reset to Eternal Diamond, while players below Diamond II will land in Platinum. Starting in Diamond isn’t bad—climbing back to Celestial early in the season is manageable, and players can earn rank protection cards to ease the grind.

Hero Adjustments and Skin Teasers

In recent balancing changes, Han Xin received a minor buff with a reduced cooldown on his ultimate ability. This adjustment may hint at an upcoming new skin. Reliable sources suggest that Han Xin, Sang Qi, and Yun Zhongjun are slated to receive a parkour-themed skin series. Han Xin’s skin, in particular, is rumored to be a top-tier “Mythic Limited” quality release, expected to arrive soon.

Sun Shangxiang, already one of the game’s most decorated heroes in terms of skins, appears to be receiving yet another high-profile addition. Fresh off the heels of her recent Year of the Dragon skin, leaks point to a new Aries-themed legendary skin infused with celestial and starry elements. Although it draws inspiration from the (Aries) constellation, it is not part of the Saint Seiya collaboration series.

Final Overview

To summarize the major upcoming updates: the S35 season skin will go to either Liu Bei or Huang Zhong; new rank reset rules are confirmed; Han Xin, Sang Qi, and Yun Zhongjun are getting parkour-themed skins; and Sun Shangxiang is set to receive a stunning Aries-inspired legendary skin. Stay tuned for more official announcements as the new season approaches!
